Starting my homelab journey.

I like mucking around with old devices which are lying around home, installing linux distros on them. Currently I have and old raspberry pi which acts as a file server, I use rsync to copy files from it to my main laptop.

So about my homelab, I had a macbook air lying around a 2015 one, I installed Linux mint on it and practiced setting up Nginx and playing with it, then I had a requirement to access my file server from outside my home network so I thought of setting up Wireguard and DuckDns because I dont have static ip, then I came across Netbird which is built on top of WireGuard. I decided to use Docker for this and just like that my homelab journey has started.

So this is my current setup: My Current Setup

I want to get another Optiplex with 64Gb ram so I can start with Proxmox which is mainly used at my workplace.
