I am a system administrator. Actually I would like to describe myself as an IT plumber, I do everything that my company requires me to do, that can be fixing bugs in a legacy system, fixing printers, fixing network issues (I have CCNA), keeping around 30 Linux servers patched, backed up and monitored, running vulnerability scans, writing documents for existing processes, doing system analysis (that was my post graduate specialisation), writing code for ETL process, providing level 3 IT support and of course writing code. These days I am also learning Terraform and Kubernetes in my homelab, and working on AZ-104.
